I am a Mindful Breastfeeding Practitioner. I trained as a breastfeeding peer supporter in 2017 and then continued my training with Anna Le Grange, an IBCLC, in April 2018. Mindful Breastfeeding is about understanding how the mind and body connection can affect your breastfeeding journey.
Mindful breastfeeding techniques can help you to: Have more confidence in your body's ability to breastfeed. Understand your baby's needs better. Have confidence in your parenting ability. Listen to your own instinct. Worry less about what others think. Feel calmer about your situation. Have a better understanding of your own parent beliefs and infant feeding thoughts. Feel more relax.
I can offer you a mindful breastfeeding appointment that will cover mindful breastfeeding techniques, position and attachment at the breast, a look at understanding new born behaviour and where/who to contact if you need help and support.
